To teach the skills of both gesture and Contour line drawing
 
The students will be directed in several drawing exercises to develop the skills used in the area of drawing
 
IMPLEMENTATION

Drawing is the basis of all understanding and development in the field of art. This lesson uses the students background in drawing for fun combined with the skills shown in 7th grade art in the area of aerial and linear perspective. These skills are applied to the concepts of Gesture and contour line drawing of objects to continue the development of those skills.

Students will work collaboratively & individually. Students will work in groups of 4.
 
4 class periods. 40 Min. per class.
 
Shoes are a good theme because of the fact that all students have them with them everyday. Sometimes if you "ask" students to bring in something from home, they always tend to forget it when they need it
